Locum Hospital Occupational Therapist – Grade 2 - Bairnsdale, VIC

Grade 2 Occupational Therapist required for regional health service in Victoria. Join a team of 40 allied health professionals, including 11 Occupational Therapists. 2nd April start date for 3 months + possible extension.
 
The Occupational Therapy department comprises of a Team Leader, Grade Two and Grade One Therapists in rotational positions. The Department provides services to acute and rehabilitation inpatients, outpatients, community groups, lymphoedema and hand therapy clients. The Occupational Therapy Department is supported by a team of Allied Health Assistants who facilitate groups, support ongoing inpatient therapy and home based programs. The Occupational Therapy department values a multidisciplinary, integrated approach and works closely with other members of the health team.
The primary focus of this Grade 2 Occupational Therapist position is to plan, deliver and evaluate services to consumers.
 
 

  • The focus of this caseload is Inpatient acute caseload – general medicine, palliative, post-surgery
  • Acute and or sub acute experience required
  • Accommodation available, walking distance from the hospital
  • Upto $1000 towards travel with receipts
