Our Practice is a fully equipped and computerized, friendly family practice offering high quality medical care located in Greenacre, NSW.
We are currently seeking an experienced General Practice Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist who is able to work autonomously alongside our GP and Allied health. The shifts are divided into morning and afternoon shifts, but double shifts might also be offered depending on availability. Our practice opening hours are: Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:30pmSaturday: 9am to 2pm
General Duties Answering incoming calls, registering patients, keeping our patient database up-to-date, and booking appointments Greet patients at the door and be able to communicate our current COVID-19 policies.
Monitor waiting room to ensure patients that are able to attend in-person are comfortable. Collecting and processing payments including Workcover, cash handling and reconciliation (BP experience essential).Scanning/Faxing as required. Providing cover for planned/sick leave. Maintain a well organised, clean, efficient, and confidential workspace. Maintain cleanliness of the practice. Maintain stationery and clinic supplies. Attend to end of day routine cleaning and stock requirements and ensure all furniture and equipment is clean and tidy. Be available for and participate in monthly staff meetings
Experience: Medical Receptionist: 5 year (Required).
Software experience: Best Practice
Location: Sydney Western Suburbs (Within Canterbury/Bankstown LGA Preferred).COVID-19 considerations: Wearing mask is mandatory for all. Social distancing rules and good hygiene are maintained. WFH is currently not an option.
