About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine to lead a high-performing Emergency Department through a period of exciting transformation and growth.

With over 25,000 presentations per year, the Emergency Department serves as a regional trauma and referral centre, managing complex trauma from road, agricultural, and industrial incidents.

As Clinical Director, you will provide:

• Professional leadership and clinical governance
• Strategic direction for service development, innovation, and patient flow
• Mentorship and guidance to a skilled, multidisciplinary ED team
• A 50% clinical load, ensuring you remain embedded in frontline care

About You:
You are an experienced emergency physician and proven leader with:

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Physicians (FACEM)
• AHPRA registration
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead clinical teams
• Strategic thinking with a passion for continuous improvement
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
