About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you providing clinical leadership and specialty psychiatry services within a dedicated Child and Youth Mental Health Service. Along with providing a high standard of quality clinical services, you will also be contributing to the overall development and quality of an integrated and recovery oriented mental health service.

Responsibilities associated with this position include providing effective clinical governance and support to the multidisciplinary team; psychiatric assessment, treatment and management of young people and their families; providing supervision, training and education to registrars, junior medical staff, medical students and other professional staff; quality improvement and research activities; and participation in the after-hours on-call roster and ECT roster as required.
