New locum with this regional NSW service. The location is based two hours from Canberra and four hours from Sydney. The locum role is to start ASAP for 8 weeks + possible extension. There is also scope for a locum to permanent arrangement.

The caseload will cover:

• Public hospital inpatient subacute (rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation and palliative care caseload) and rural acute inpatient (local district hospital cover) patient caseload.
• Caseload including: advocacy, capacity and guardianship issues, accessing community services, entry to residential care, carer strain, elder abuse, accommodation strain, organising ongoing services, EPOA and EG and wills, grief and loss, care coordination, Centrelink and MyAgedCare assistance, accessing NDIS, family meetings – working as part of multidisciplinary team.
• Great rural generalist caseload with lots of variety and rewarding work. Experienced onsite Social Worker able to supervise if needed. You will be part of large allied health team.
• Junior and experienced clinicians welcome to apply!
• You must had paid Australian hospital experience
