We are seeking a Senior Registrar Internal Medicine to join a dedicated team 30 minutes’ drive from Brisbane CBD, this position can support those seeking peer review and who are available for a August 2024 start!

The Senior Registrar will function as a member of the General Medicine team providing high-quality clinical health care within the Department of General Medicine.

  • The position requires the provision of clinical supervision and support, as appropriate, to Registrars and Junior Medical Officers.
  • The provision of education to Medical, Nursing and Allied Health as well as Students and interested Community Groups.
  • Active participation in quality activities including patient safety, audit, research and service planning activities for the Department of Medicine at Redland Hospital.
  • Provide a high level of clinical care to medical patients in Bayside Health Service.
  • Treat patients and their families with courtesy and sympathy and treat all Hospital staff and professional colleagues with courtesy and respect.
  • Participate in Hospital clinical audits and clinical meetings.
  • Provide medical reports as requested.
  • Ensure the effective utilisation of available resources at the Hospital.

LOCATION:
Charming and friendly bayside suburb with a village ambience and sea breezes. This is the departure point for the Southern Islands. Regular passenger ferry and vehicular barge services depart from the Bay. Sport is a popular pastime for locals and there’s an 18-hole golf club, tennis courts, cricket oval, cycling and walking paths and, it’s worth noting, one of the most picturesque and popular foreshore trails in the city.
