The Position:
We are seeking General Medicine Registrars/Senior Registrars to join a dedicated team.

You will be exposed to a wide variety of medical case-mix appropriate to your stage of training. With several Visiting Medical Specialists, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from leading Medical Consultants. 

Expand your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a Registrar – General Medical, offers of 12-to-24-month fixed term contracts, ideally working full time hours – however part time contracts can be considered.  This is an excellent opportunity for Registrars looking to gain experience within a hospital that offers a supportive working environment with exposure to various procedures. 

Highly competitive salary & conditions ($113,673 to $155,960 base salary plus super per annum, pro rata for part time)

The Hospital:
With a total of 367 beds, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients, the hospitals will be conveniently located within one complex, bringing health care closer to home. The public hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities will deliver newer and expanded services than those currently provided.

The Requirements: 

• Eligible for Provisional or General registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• A minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a RMO with medical experience
• Proven highly developed interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate clinical and procedural experience commensurate with clinical responsibilities of Registrar.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Promote a positive safety culture.
