About the Role
You will:
- Work closely with the Director, Staff Specialists, and Senior Medical Officers to deliver high-quality general medical services.
- Provide hands-on inpatient care, participate in ward rounds, assist in the ED as needed, and collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Receive mentorship, educational opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in a regional setting.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have: Preferred – Current registration with AHPRA
- MBBS or equivalent (suitable for AHPRA registration at Level 3 supervision).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (desirable).
- Completion of AMC Part 1 (MCQ) and English language test (IELTS/OET), if trained outside Australia.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and a passion for working in regional medicine.
- An interest in ongoing learning, teamwork, and contributing to patient safety.
Candidates with AHPRA registration and at least 2 years of clinical experience within the Australian healthcare system will be highly regarded.
