Optimising your images for web

The file upload limit for classified images is 128kb. To avoid issues with submitting your ads, we recommend optimising your images before uploading.

1. Resize the image
Ensure your image is resized to the dimensions of 705px x 440px. Uploading larger images and relying on the website to scale them down can result in unnecessarily large file sizes, which may lead to an error preventing you from submitting you Classified.

2. Choose the right image format

For optimal file size, it’s best to upload images as JPEGs whenever possible. JPEG formats generally produce smaller file sizes compared to PNG.

3. Compress the image

After resizing, use an image compression tool to reduce the file size and ensure it is under 128KB. There are many free online tools that can help with this.
