About the Hospital and Mental Health Service

The hospital you will be working in delivers a comprehensive range of emergency, medical, surgical and specialist services to a population of approximately 72,000 people residing in the northern region of Tasmania. The hospital is an accredited teaching hospital, working closely with the University of Tasmania to ensure high quality teaching for medical professionals of the future. A close partnership has been developed with the Clifford Foundation, enabling grants for research and innovation throughout the hospital. 

This role will see you working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality mental health services to adult patients across inpatient and community settings. You will also be working in a liaison capacity to other mental health professionals, general practitioners, and other service providers to ensure individuals receive the treatment and care they require.

This is a full-time permanent day worker position with on-call responsibilities, working 76 hours per fortnight.
